āpo asmān ityākṛṣyodakaṃ prasiñceyuḥ etatta udakamapo 'sau ityapo bhūmau niṣiñcanti trirupaspṛśyopaspṛśya \3\

drawing [the water] with: 'May the waters [purify] us...', they should pour it forth. With: 'This is water for you, O so-and-so!', they pour water onto the ground, having sipped water three times [between] each [action].
