uddhṛtyāgraṃ brāhmaṇāyāvanejya dadyāddhantata iti \11\
Taking the Brâhmana's portion (of the food which he is going to distribute), he should give it to a Brâhmana, after he has made him wash himself, with (the words), 'Well! (this) to thee!'
