pañcamīprabhṛtyaparapakṣasya / pañcamīṃ putrakāmaḥ ṣaṣṭhīṃ dhanakāmaḥ saptamīṃ paśukāmo 'ṣṭamīm ārogyakāmo navamīṃ tejaskāmo daśamīm annādyakāma ekādaśīm ṛddhikāmo dvādaśīm̐ vṛddhikāmas trayodaśīm̐ yaśaskāmaś caturdásīm̐ śastrahatasyārogyakāmo 'māvāsyāyām̐ sarvakāmaḥ /

Beginning with the fifth lunar day of the dark fortnight: one desiring a son [should perform it] on the fifth; one desiring wealth on the sixth; one desiring cattle on the seventh; one desiring health on the eighth; one desiring splendour on the ninth; one desiring proper food on the tenth; one desiring prosperity on the eleventh; one desiring growth on the twelfth; one desiring fame on the thirteenth; one desiring health for one slain by weapons on the fourteenth; on the new-moon day, one desiring all wishes.
