aṣṭādaśa śatāni bhavanti | tāny eva triguṇam adhītya kramapāro bhavati | saptasu vīrāś ceti ||

There are eighteen hundred [verses]. Having studied three times that number, one becomes a master of the krama step-recitation; and among the seven [branches there are] heroes.
