prāṇa āyāmair dagdha doṣaḥ śukla ambara dharaḥ śuciḥ./
yathā vidhy apa ācamya ārohed dharma prastaram.//
With faults burnt away through breath controls, wearing white garments, pure,
having sipped water according to rule, he should step onto the sacred grass mat.
