pañca vidyāṃ na gṛhṇanti lubdhāścaṇḍāśca ye narāḥ
alasāścāmarogāśca yeṣāṃ ca vikṛtaṃ manaḥ
Five [types of] men do not grasp knowledge: the greedy and the fierce, / the lazy, those who suffer from chronic disease, and those whose minds are disturbed.
