samamuccārayedvarṇānhastena ca mukhena ca
svaraścaivātha hastaśca dvāvetau yugapatsthitau

One should pronounce the speech sounds simultaneously with the hand and with the mouth; / both the accent and the hand gesture: these two stand together.
