yathā dhanuṣyavitate śare kṣipte punarguṇaḥ
svasthānaṃ pratipadyeta tadvaddhastagataḥ svaraḥ

Just as on an unstrung bow, when the arrow is shot, the bowstring returns / to its own place, so does the accent resting in the hand.
