manuṣyatīrthoccaṃ kṛtvā pitṛtīrthe jalaṃ vrajet
nāmitaṃ karapṛṣṭhe tu suvyaktāṅgulimokṣaṇam

Having raised [the hand] at the sacred place of men, water should reach the sacred place of the ancestors; / bent on the back of the hand, with a distinct release of the fingers.
