ardharcādiṣu śabdeṣu rūpabhedaḥ kramād yathā
tantrāt tathaikaśabdatve bhinnānāṃ śrutir anyathā //
Just as in words like ardharca and the like, difference of form is sequential, / so, due to an encompassing rule (tantra), when there is oneness of word, the hearing of distinct items is otherwise.
