nirvarttyamānaṃ yat karma jātis tatrāpi sādhanam
svāśrayasyābhiniṣpattyai sā kriyāṇāṃ prayojikā //
Even with regard to an object being produced, the universal is the accomplishing factor;
for the full production of its own substratum, it is the promoter of actions.
