dravyābhidhānaṃ vyāḍiḥ. dravyābhidhānaṃ vyāḍir ācāryo nyāyyaṃ manyate — dravyam abhidhīyata iti

The denotation of substance [is held by] Vyāḍi. The teacher Vyāḍi considers the denotation of substance to be logical: that substance is denoted.
