mahā nagari so bhaī ujāra. aba āī aba āī dhāra.
saba jaũharī mile ika ṭhaura. nagara mā̃hi nara rahyau na aura. //

That great city became desolate: "Now an army of raiders has come! Now it has come!"
All the jewelers gathered in one place; not a man remained inside the city.
