nita uṭhi prāta jāi jina-bhauna. darasanu binu na karai dantauna.
caudaha nema birati uccarai. sāmāika paṛikaunā karai. //

Rising early every morning, he would go to the Jina temple; he would not clean his teeth without first having darśana.
He recited the fourteen vows and restraints, and performed sāmāyika and pratikramaṇa.
