atra asmin prakaraṇē taddhitē kr̥tē ca lōpādikāryaṁ padavidhānaṁ samāsavat draṣṭavyaṁ. tathaivōdāhr̥taṁ.

Here, in this section, in a secondary derivative and in a primary derivative, operations such as elision, which are rules concerning inflected words, should be understood to be like [those in] a compound. And it has been exemplified in just that manner.
