etān na hantum icchāmi ghnato 'pi madhusūdana
api trailokyarājyasya hetoḥ kiṃ nu mahīkṛte
he varī bhalateṃ karitu |
ātāṃci etheṃ māritu |
pari āpaṇa maneṃ ghātu |
na ciṃtāvā ||
Even if they do whatever they please, / even if they kill us right here, / still we should not think in our mind / of doing them harm.
