nikavaḍyā niṣṭhurā |
ubagije jevīṃ soyarā |
taise nāgavatī vikārāṃ |
veṭāḷūṃ je ||

Just as one turns away / from a penniless and cruel relative, / so they do not allow modifications of the mind to approach and surround them;
