16.323

kāmam āśritya duṣpūraṃ dambhamānamadānvitāḥ
mohād gṛhītvāsadgrāhān pravartante 'śucivratāḥ
tarī jāḷa pāṇiyeṃ na bhare |
āgī iṃdhana na pure |
tayāṃ durbharāṃciye dhure |
bhukāḷu jo ||

*{Resorting to insatiable desire, filled with hypocrisy, pride, and arrogance, holding false notions through delusion, they act with impure vows. (16.10)}*
Now, a net cannot be filled with water; / fire cannot be satisfied with fuel; / and standing at the very head of such insatiable things / is this greedy creature.
