āṇi pasarilā abhilāṣu |
apūrṇu hoya toci dveṣu |
evaṃ kāmakrodhāṃhūni adhiku |
puruṣārthu nāhīṃ ||
And when desire extends, / that which remains unfulfilled turns into hatred itself; / in this way, beyond lust and wrath / they have no aim of human life.
