16.389

ahaṃkāraṃ balaṃ darpaṃ kāmaṃ krodhaṃ ca saṃśritāḥ
mām ātmaparadeheṣu pradviṣanto 'bhyasūyakāḥ
maga puḍhāṃ bherī niśāṇa |
lāunī te dīkṣitapaṇa |
jagīṃ phokāritī āpaṇa |
vavo vāvo ||

Resorting to egoism, power, pride, lust, and anger, / these slanderers hate Me in their own and others' bodies. (Bhg 16.18)
Then, sounding drums and kettle-drums before them, / they proclaim their status as initiated sacrificers / across the world, / shouting, 'Hail! Hail!'
