tarī tayāṃsī jetha jāṇeṃ |
tethiṃceṃ heṃ pahileṃ peṇeṃ |
teṃ pāvoni yereṃ dāruṇeṃ |
na hotī duḥkheṃ ||
Yet, where they are destined to go, / this is merely their first halt; / having reached it, / do terrible sufferings not ensue?
