mṛdu āṇi kaṭhīṇa |
he sparśāce donhī guṇa |
je vapūceni saṃge kāraṇa |
saṃtoṣakhedāṃ ||
Soft and hard: / these two are qualities of touch, / which, through contact with the body, / are the cause of joy and sorrow.
