yā viṣayāṃvāṃcūni kāṃhīṃ |
āṇika sarvathā ramya nāhīṃ |
aisā svabhāvoci pāhīṃ |
iṃdriyāṃcā ||
Apart from these sense-objects, / nothing else whatsoever is pleasant [to them]; / behold, such is the very nature / of the senses.
