salilīṃ paya jaiseṃ |
eka hounī mīnaleṃ ase |
parī nivaḍūni rājahaṃseṃ |
vegaḷe kīje ||

Just as milk is mixed in water / and becomes one with it, / yet the royal swan, discerning it, / separates it;
