tūṃ nirmatsaru sadayatā |
yethūni nighasī kīra māghautā |
parī te gati samastāṃ |
na manela yayāṃ ||

Without malice and full of compassion, / you might indeed turn back from here; / but this action / will not be believed by all these [men].
