2.256

traiguṇyaviṣayā vedā nistraiguṇyo bhavārjuna
nirdvaṃdvo nityasattvastho niryogakṣema ātmavān
tihīṃ guṇīṃ āvṛta |
he veda jāṇeṃ nibhrāṃta |
mhaṇoni upaniṣadādi samasta |
sāttvika te ||

[Bhagavadgītā 2.45]
Know with certainty that the Vedas
are enfolded by the three qualities;
therefore the Upaniṣads and the rest
are all sāttvika;
