taise gotraguru āmuce |
he pūjanīya āmhāṃ niyamāce |
maja bahuta bhīṣmadroṇāṃceṃ |
vartatase ||

Likewise, these are the elders of our clan,
worthy of our constant veneration;
I owe a great debt
to Bhīṣma and Droṇa.
