Jñāneśvarī (commentary on the Bhagavadgītā) 2.36

2.36

vara jaḷo heṃ jiyāleṃ |
etha āghaveyāṃsi heṃci kāya jāhaleṃ |
je yāṃcyā vadhīṃ abhyāsileṃ |
miravije āmhīṃ ||

Rather, let such a life burn away!
Has it come to this for all of us,
that we should display our skill
in slaying them?
