taise rājyabhogasamṛddhi |
ujjīvana nohe jīvabuddhi |
etha jivhāḷā kṛpānidhi |
kāruṇṝa tujheṃ ||

so the prosperity of royal pleasures / cannot revive the soul's intellect; / here the life-spring, O treasure of grace, / is Your compassion."
