tayāparī to dhanurdharu |
jāhalāse duḥkheṃ jarjaru |
jaisā grīṣmakāḷīṃ girivaru |
vaṇavalā kāṃ ||
In that manner the wielder of the bow / was crushed by grief, / just as in the summer season a great mountain / is scorched by wildfire.
