kīṃ auṣadhāciyā kaḍuvaṭapaṇīṃ |
jaisī amṛtācī puravaṇī |
te āhāca na dise, parī guṇīṃ |
prakaṭa hoya ||
or as in the bitterness of a medicine / there is the sustaining power of nectar, / which is not seen on the surface, but through its effect / becomes revealed.
