tūṃ jāṇatā tarī mhaṇavisī |
parī neṇaveteṃ na saṃḍisī |
āṇi śikavūṃ mhaṇoṃ tarī bolasī |
bahusāla nīti ||
"You call yourself a wise man, / yet you do not abandon ignorance; / and if one wishes to teach you, you speak / abundant moral precepts.
