yad yad ācarati śreṣṭhas tat tad evetaro janaḥ
sa yat pramāṇaṃ kurute lokas tad anuvartate
je ācaratāṃ āpaṇapeyāṃ |
dekhī lāgela lokā yayā |
tarī cukela hā apāyā |
prasaṃgeṃci ||

For seeing what one does oneself, / these people will take it as an example, / and thus this world will escape ruin / in the natural course of events.
