dekheṃ iṃdriyīṃ kāmu ase |
to lāvī sukhdurāśe |
jaisā gaḷīṃ mīnu āmiṣeṃ |
bhulavije gā ||
Look: desire resides in the senses; / it entices with a false hope of happiness, / just as a fish on a hook / is lured by bait.
