śrībhagavān uvāca
kāma eṣa krodha eṣa rajoguṇasamudbhavaḥ
mahāśano mahāpāpmā viddhy enam iha vairiṇam
taṃva hṛdayakamaḷaārāmu |
jo yogiyāṃcā niṣkāma kāmu |
to mhaṇatase puruṣottamu |
sāṃgena āika ||

Then the delight of the lotus of the heart, / the desireless desire of yogins, / the Supreme Person, said: / "Listen, I will tell you.
