ādhī yāteṃ jiṇāveṃ |
maga teṃ jñāna pāvāveṃ |
taṃva parābhavo na saṃbhave |
rāgadveṣāṃ ||
One must conquer these first / and then attain that knowledge; / yet the defeat of attraction and aversion / does not seem possible.
