jetha pravṛtti pāṃguḷa jāhalī |
tarkācī diṭhī gelī |
jeṇeṃ iṃdriyeṃ visaralīṃ |
viṣayasaṃgu ||

Where active engagement is crippled,
the sight of logic is lost,
and whereby the senses forget
association with sense objects;
