athavā jñāna kīra āpu nohe |
pari te cāḍa ekī jarī vāhe |
tarī tetha jivhāḷā kāṃhīṃ āhe |
prāptīcā paiṃ ||

Or even if knowledge is not attained on one's own, / but one still bears a desire for it, / then there is some hope / of its attainment.
