parī te vegaḷepaṇeṃ bhogije |
jaiseṃ pakṣiyeṃ phaḷa cuṃbije |
taiseṃ navhe tetha visarije |
bhogitepaṇahī ||
Yet it is not enjoyed in separateness, / as a bird pecks at a fruit; / it is not like that, for there / even the status of being an enjoyer is forgotten.
