pari to rasātiśayo mukuḷīṃ |
maga graṃthārthadīpu ujaḷīṃ |
karīṃ sādhuhṛdayarāuḷīṃ |
maṃgaḷa ukhā ||
Restrain that excess of sentiment / and light the lamp of the text's meaning; / create an auspicious dawn / in the temple of the hearts of the virtuous."
