to karmeṃ karī sakaḷeṃ |
parī karmabaṃdhā nākaḷe |
jaiseṃ na siṃpe jaḷīṃ jaḷeṃ |

He performs all actions, / yet is not bound by the bondage of action, / just as a lotus leaf in water / is not wetted by water.
