vidyāvinayasaṃpanne brāhmaṇe gavi hastini
śuni caiva śvapāke ca paṇḍitāḥ samadarśinaḥ
maga hā maśaku hā gaju |
kīṃ hā śvapacu hā dviju |
paila itaru hā ātmaju |
heṃ urela keṃ ||

Then where can there remain this: / "This is a gnat, this an elephant, / or this is an outcaste, this a twice-born, / that one is a stranger, this one my own child"?
