jaisī te śukāceni āṃgabhāreṃ |
naḷikā bhovinnalī erī mohare |
tarī teṇeṃ uḍāveṃ pari na pure |
manaśaṃkā ||

Just as when, under the weight of a parrot's body, / the revolving perch turns upside down, / he could fly away, but the doubt in his mind / is never dispelled;
