mhaṇe bāṃdhalā mī phuḍā |
aisiyā bhāvaneciyā paḍe khoḍāṃ |
kīṃ mokaḷiyā pāyāṃcā cavaḍā |
goṃvīṃ adhikeṃ ||
Saying, 'I am bound fast,' / he falls into the snare of his own conception, / and entangles all the more / his free claws and feet.
