Jñāneśvarī (commentary on the Bhagavadgītā) 7.10

7.10

manuṣyāṇāṃ sahasreṣu kaś cid yatati siddhaye
yatatām api siddhānāṃ kaś cin māṃ vetti tattvataḥ
paiṃ gā manuṣyāṃciyā sahasraśāṃ- |
māji vipāileyācī yetha dhiṃvasā |
taiseyāṃ dhiṃvasekarāṃ bahuvasāṃ- |
māji viraḷā jāṇe ||

Indeed, among thousands of men, / rarely does someone entertain this desire; / and among the many who thus desire, / rare is the one who truly knows.
