pari āṇikāṃciye diṭhī nāveka |
jaisā sphaṭikuci ābhāse udaka |
taisā jñānī navhe kautuka |
sāṃgatāṃ to ||

Yet in the eyes of others, for a moment,
just as a crystal appears to be water,
so the knower appears [distinct];
it is a marvel to describe him.
