mattaḥ parataraṃ nānyat kiṃ cid asti dhanaṃjaya
mayi sarvam idaṃ protaṃ sūtre maṇigaṇā iva
heṃ rohiṇīceṃ jaḷa |
tayāceṃ pāhatāṃ yeīje mūḷa |
taiṃ raśmi navhatī kevaḷa |
hoya to bhānu ||

Take the mirage of the summer sun: / when one looks for its source, / there are no rays alone— / it is the sun itself.
