7.40

bījaṃ māṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ viddhi pārtha sanātanam
buddhir buddhimatām asmi tejas tejasvinām aham
balaṃ balavatāṃ cāhaṃ kāmarāgavivarjitam
dharmāviruddho bhūteṣu kāmo 'smi bharatarṣabha
paiṃ ādiceni avasareṃ |
virūḍhe gaganāceni aṃkureṃ |
jeṃ aṃtī giḷī akṣareṃ |
praṇavapaṭīṃcīṃ ||

Behold, at the very beginning of time, / it sprouts as the shoot of space, / and at the end it swallows up the letters / on the cloth of the Praṇava.
