je guṇaghanāceni vṛṣṭibhareṃ |
bharalī mohāceni mahāpūreṃ |
gheūni jāta nagareṃ |
yamaniyamāṃcīṃ ||
Fed by the torrential rains of the clouds of the guṇas, / filled with the great flood of delusion, / it sweeps away the cities / of self-restraint and moral observances.
