agnir jyotir ahaḥ śuklaḥ ṣaṇmāsā uttarāyaṇam
tatra prayātā gacchanti brahma brahmavido janāḥ
āṃta agnijyotīṃcā prakāśu |
bāherī śuklapakṣu parī divasu |
āṇi sāmāsāṃmājīṃ māsu |
uttarāyaṇa ||
